iAbout the practice

A practice, not a franchise.

Halcyon & Co. is a small Brisbane property office on Latrobe Terrace. We've been working in the inner suburbs since 2013, and we like it small.

iThe story

It started with one house we couldn't sell quickly.

In 2013 a federation Queenslander on Latrobe Terrace had been on the market for nine months. The owners — friends of friends — asked Megan to give it a go. She took her time, photographed it on a grey winter morning, and rewrote the listing in plain language. It sold in three weeks.

From there we built the practice the way we'd want one: a small list, careful photography, the same person from first phone call to settlement.

iiThe people

Six people who answer their own phones.

The agent who lists your home will run the open-homes, return your buyer's call on a Sunday, and stand in your kitchen at settlement.
